DREXEL, PHILADELPHIA CHAPTER
The Philadelphia BPSHI Chapter successfully held their first clinic on January 29th at the Philadelphia Sikh Society in Millbourne, PA. The chapter currently consists primarily of Drexel Medical Students, Residents and Physicians. The chapter is looking forward to partnering and expanding to other medical schools in the greater Philadelphia area and developing opportunities for undergraduate student involvement.
SITES WE VISIT
Our first clinic was held January 29th 2017. We are currently working with the Philadelphia Sikh Society, a Gurdwara serving the greater Philadelphia area.

OBJECTIVES
The Philadelphia BPSHI chapter is committed to selfless service and providing care in a culturally appropriate manner. We aim to serve as patient advocates and empower immigrant populations to strengthen their outlook and take ownership of their health and well-being. Our team is committed to empowering our communities and shifting from disease specific conversations to an overall focus on wellness and health. The Philadelphia BPSHI chapter currently provides basic health screenings, including information on BMI, Blood Glucose and Blood Pressure. Additionally, we offer opportunities for health education and physician consults
