Sacramento State BPSHI was established January 2015.
With the help of diverse members from different majors we strive to work together towards the same goal. While doing seva for underserved communities, we want our members to learn team building skills that can be used in their lives daily.
We seek to create a family atmosphere.
Current Projects

Clinics
Sac State BPSHI will be holding 7 clinics this academic year in locations such as Bradshaw Gurdwara, Dashmesh Darbar Elk Grove, Roseville Gurdwara, Yuba City Gurdwara, and Gurdwara Sant Sagar. Sac State BPSHI clinics offer free Narcan (naloxone) through collaboration with Sac State’s Narcare chapter to combat the opioid crisis and raise awareness about opioid prevention.

Fundraisers
Sac State BPSHI will be holding 2 fundraisers this academic year to raise money for, clinic supplies, Khalsa Aid and the Hemkunt Foundation for flood relief efforts. These fundraisers include selling rooh afza, baked treats, hot chocolate, and Sac State BPSHI jackets.

Hygiene Products Drive
Sac State BPSHI will be holding a hygiene product drive and distributing products in underserved areas near Gurdwara Sant Sagar (Del Paso Heights) and Yuba City Gurdwara in the upcoming winter months.

Langar Seva
Sac State BPSHI will also be holding 3 Langar Seva events at Bradshaw Gurdwara and Dashmesh Darbar Elk Grove to serve the Sacramento community in times of need.
