CLINICAL VOLUNTEER

Based on certification and qualification, clinical volunteers assist with taking social histories, checking vitals, providing consultations, specialized exams (ie. dental, visual) and facilitating interactive exercise and health education stations at BPSHI clinics.

• HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS | We are always appreciative of healthcare professionals volunteering at our clinics. Healthcare professionals with a doctoral degree in health (ie. M.D., D.O., Pharm.D. O.D.s) provide community members with the necessary health education and consultation, as well as perform preliminary exams such as vision checks or visual dental exams. Healthcare professionals certified in patient care (ie. R.N., P.A., M.A., L.V.N.) provide healthcare education and perform invasive finger prick tests such as cholesterol testing. 

• UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS | Undergraduate students that are enrolled in a BPSHI affiliated university, may join BPSHI through their campus organization chapter. Undergraduate students attend meetings, trainings, clinics, and service events. 

• COMMUNITY MEMBERS | Community members can help connect their community site with a BPSHI chapter to facilitate clinics or they can serve as clinical volunteers. Connect with a BPSHI chapter near you! Fill out the contact form below.
